Pastor
Tom Vann
Pastor Tom has been a part of the ministry at Rentz Baptist Church since 1996 and has led the church to become a leader in the community. Pastor Tom comes to Rentz Baptist after serving in a church in Florida for twenty-one years. Pastor Tom is a preacher and teacher of the Word and desires to show the church how to be not just hearers but doers of the Word. Pastor Tom would love to speak to anyone who is interesting in understanding more about God, faith or the ministry at Rentz Baptist Church.

Associate Pastor of Children and Youth
Samuel Dingler
Samuel began his ministry at Rentz in 2018. He served in Cleveland, GA for the five years prior to coming to Rentz. He is an Alumni of Truett McConnell University class of 2011 with a BA in Christian Studies. Samuel desires to see kids and youth fall in love with Jesus; he wants to train them up in Godly wisdom so that they can stand strong on their own one day. He seeks to accomplish this difficult task by preaching the Gospel faithfully and training students in spiritual disciplines and skills that they need. His goal is to partner with parents to see these things done as a team. Feel free to contact him about the children and youth ministries of Rentz Baptist Church.

Minister of Music and Young Adults
Tommy Youmans
Tommy Youmans began his Music & Young Adult ministry in 2024 at Rentz Baptist Church in Rentz, Georgia. While he was raised in South Georgia, he (and his wife - Jana Youmans) have spent many years serving full-time in Southern Baptist churches in Georgia, Tennessee, and West Virginia, as Minister of Music, along with other combination ministry roles. Both he and wife love to sing and play music that lifts up the name of Jesus and glorifies His Holy Name. They love to share the love of Jesus whenever possible and help people to see their need for a relationship with Jesus Christ - the Savior of the World. Both Tommy and Jana see themselves, not only as encouragers, but also as examples of how the Lord Jesus can see them through the testing and trials of life. One of Tommy's favorite quotes is the following. "In music/worship ministry, the question is not whether, or not, you have a voice, but whether, or not, you have a song to share about Jesus!" He and Jana strive to encourage people to keep singing the "song" and the message of Christ.
